Who is Drake?
Drake began exploring photography while still in high school, back in the days of film and darkrooms. He learned how to process and print black and white film and was the school yearbook photographer, as well as printing the photos for the school newspaper.
Decades later, he still breaks out the film camera occasionally, but now primarily uses a digital mirrorless camera and a drone for his professional work.
Drake is primarily a landscape/seascape photographer, but also enjoys cityscapes & street photography.
He is a published photographer, runs a YouTube channel and is on various social media sites with his photography. In addition, Drake runs the Meanwhile in Sooke Facebook page and is part of the Socratic Satsang philosophy podcast as well as being the creator of the Shutter Trails Podcast, which is all about outdoor photography and includes interviews with other photographers.
He is represented by Station Street Gallery, located in Duncan, BC, where you can view prints of his photos, along with various other beautiful pieces of art by some very talented artists.
Drake is always open to collaborating with other photographers and would love to hear from you.
I’m fuelled on my photography adventures and podcasts by coffee, so if you want to support me, I’d be really appreciative if you would Buy Me A Coffee!
